What Others Are Saying

We loved having Angela at our MomCo meetup! Her passion for teaching and encouraging young moms in the Lord is beautiful. Angela is a wonderful and clear communicator. She is versatile and adjusts her presentation to the audience she has in front of her. She is a biblically sound, kind, and fun addition to your speaker lineup!

I met Angela in 2023 when she served as a breakout speaker for a women’s conference I was organizing.  The theme was “Read, Write, Renew Your Mind” and the power that words can have on our spiritual lives and daily living out of the gospel (Romans 12:1-2).

She was uniquely gifted to speak on this topic as a pastor’s wife, blogger, witty wordsmith, and soon-to-be author.  She winsomely narrowed down the focus of her talk to the power of words in one’s marriage and the joy it can bring. Her audience loved it. She also worked hard to publish her first book in time for the conference.

Two years later, Angela rose to the top of our list of potential keynote speakers, this time as a two-time author and Christian public speaker.  Once again, our audience of women loved her Bible messages and shared their commitment to make changes in their lives going forward. Angela was very warm and engaged the audience quickly and effectively, like a familiar friend and trusted mentor to all ages.

I really enjoyed working with her in the planning stages of the keynote themes and seeing it come together in the end. She and her husband are a great team and so pleasant to work with for the cause of Christ. One very big favor she granted was speaking at both locations one week apart as the women’s conference was presented in 2 regions of the state. She was a true blessing to me personally as well as to the 350 women who sat under her teaching. I happily endorse her and invite her to join us again in the future.

Angela is a delight to work with! She spoke at one of our MomCo meetups in November and all the moms loved her. She’s been through all the trials we have and shared the biblical insights that helped her parent her kids.

I highly recommend having her speak at your next womens event. (And make sure you buy her books too!)

As our September 2025 presenter at LeTourneau Christian Center’s Blessed Hope “Girls’ Day Out,” Angela was so welcoming to each of our guests. Her enthusiasm, personal stories, and obvious love for others added to her presentation and her interactions with those in attendance.. Having handouts for notes helped each part of our day weave together effectively. Her presentation was Christ-centered, professional, well-organized, thought provoking and applicable to all ages. It was our pleasure to welcome her to the Finger Lakes Region of NYS. We hope she will return in the future to share another topic. Thank you, Angela for blessing our day! Praise God!

Angela was the speaker for our most recent annual women’s retreat and she was amazing! Her love for Jesus and passion for God’s Word were very evident as she spoke over the course of the weekend. Weaving her own testimony into the teaching times, she kept us thoroughly engaged in listening and note-taking, while making biblical truth her firm foundation. She was organized and well prepared, and it was evident that she was led by God to deliver timely words from Romans 12:1-2. Angela herself was passionate and engaging as she spoke; her words impactful and encouraging to our group of multi-generational women.

I truly appreciated that Angela took time to connect with our women throughout the weekend; around the bonfire, during mealtimes, and even joining in our PJs fashion show! She was delightful and accommodating, wanting to work with the schedules and ideas of our women’s ministry team. I am so grateful for the time she spent with us and the impact she made on our women. We are already looking forward to our next opportunity to hear from her! I cannot recommend her highly enough.

We had the privilege of having Angela be our speaker for a three day ladies retreat. I can’t stress enough what a blessing she was to work with and to have as our Bible teacher for the weekend. Communication and coordinating with Angela prior to the retreat was easy and seamless.

She prayerfully prepared four separate sessions to share throughout the weekend that were challenging, convicting, Christ-centered, and dynamically delivered. She has a captivating way of sharing the Word of God that impacted a variety of ladies; from teenagers to 80-year-olds.

Angela demonstrates a genuine desire to honor the Lord in all that she does. Her passion to influence other women, and the next generation, to grow in their relationship with the Lord is contagious. She has been gifted with the ability to share practical, applicable, biblical wisdom that inspires genuine life-change. We hope to have her return as our key speaker for future events.

Angela was the speaker for our Christmas Tea in 2024. It was my first year as Women’s Ministry Director for our church and Angela was a great encouragement to me as we prepared for this event. Angela’s passion for pointing women to Christ helped us bring the message of salvation and the hope of Christ to all of our women.

From my first meeting with her to get connected so she understood our desires for the event, to her attention to our time parameters, she demonstrated care for us. She was responsive to questions and on top of her preparations. Her personal presence is warm and her message was a great blessing. We are grateful to have had her with us.

Angela Burtis is a woman whose passion is to point other women to Jesus! She is transparent and honest as she shares often from her own spiritual journey of learning to lean hard into God’s heart and know Him better.  Angela is engaging and humorous but doesn’t run from the tough issues our culture throws at women today.  She will always offer practical help based on sound biblical advice.  Angela is a gifted communicator.

Linda Bregou – Mentor and Women’s Ministry partner, Syracuse, NY

In the many years I have known Angela she has proven to be a trusted and loyal friend, a gifted communicator of truth from the Word of God, an ambassador for the Kingdom, and an intentional discipler.

She has a contagious zeal and joy for the things that she is learning and a passion for communicating those things to everyone in her sphere. She teaches with whit and humour as well as depth and wisdom. She has a personal passion for studying the word and those who sit under her teaching leave with practical help for applying the word in their daily lives. She teaches and lives out what she is learning and she is continually pointing people to Christ.

I have been blessed by her ministry personally and every time we have Angela speak to our ladies in our ministry they are challenged, encouraged and equipped.

Anne Phillips – Pastor’s wife and Women’s Ministry Leader at Broadalbin Baptist Church, Broadalbin, NY

My first meeting with Angela Burtis was at the New York State Christian Women’s Conference at Camp-of-the-Woods. She was the guest speaker and I was entranced by her welcoming presence.

Angela is inwardly and outwardly beautiful. She shines with the presence of the Holy Spirit. She uses a unique blend of humor, experience and scripture to make God’s word come alive. Because of her life experience she is able to not only minister to women and teens, but families. God uses her unique talents in a mighty way for His kingdom. You have only to speak with her once or read one of her blogs to be touched by her gifts.

We have invited her back on other occasions to speak at our conference as women have requested her. I would highly recommend her as a speaker, counselor, and friend.
